Hello CA Aspirants !

I'm Just an average guy who will be making BIG very soon.  I cleared CA-IPCC both groups in 1st attempt. Let me come straight to the CORE Part .

GROUP-I :

ACCOUNTS
I shall suggests to attend classes from CA Parveen Sharma Sir. He has no match, i.e. he is a Lionel Messi of Accounts.

Important Topics:

1.  All AS (20 -30 marks) - For AS refer DS Rawat's Book... Parveen sir usually adopts LAYMAN approach while teaching AS's.

2. Amalgamation and Internal Reconstruction (16 marks)-Most Probably questions from these 2 chapters comes alternatively attempt wise.
3. NPO and Single Entry (16 marks)-Also, from these 2 chapters questions comes alternatively

4.Partnership (16 marks)- Be a Master in this chapter as bouncers are expected from this chapter.

In addition to that i suggests you to follow Study Material as well as Practice Manual thoroughly.

LAW,ETHICS & COMM.

It's better to do self study in this subject.
For LAW you should refer CA Munish Bhandari Sir's book,
Practice Manual is enough to land you in 30/40 marks zone from ETHICS & COMM.

Study COMPANY LAW as you are going to create your own company, then 30 marks game can be won.
One can have Layman approach on NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENTS ACT and CONTRACT ACT.

Remaining chapters are easy as well as small. One can easily 10-15 marks in the same out of 15-20 marks.

CFM
The most unpredictable subject of IPCC.

Costing:
Study Marginal, Standard, Material , Labour, Overhead and Contract expertly.Be medico- rely Prepared for the rest.

#No coaching Required

FM:
All Chapters are equally important as well as scoring. One can even score 40/50 .

KILLER TIP:1 Thoroughly do all sums of SM & Pm ( That's more than enough) , no need to follow private author's book
2 Refer Compiler issued by ICAI as it helps in identifying the repetitive theoretical questions asked in exams. Just do that twice for theory.

# Coaching is required for FM

TAXATION
For Direct Taxation, Vikram Biyani's lectures i would suggest. Though he is boring & irritating but quite handy as well. In addition to VB's book one must refer DR. Girish Ahuja's book for DT . It will add further layer to the BENTLEY .|

Amendments are must.

PRACTICE MANUAL is must for DT . Without doing PM one can't pass in this subject.

For Indirect Taxation SM & PM is like a HOLY GEETA .Self Study is the best suited for IDT.

GROUP II:

ADVANCE ACCOUNTS

1. Same as Group I A/c's .
2. Be well Prepared with Chapters related with Format's such as Banking,Insurance , Electricity & department
3.Have a Laymann Approach on Branch Accounting and one can safely skip Debentures.

Auditing
CA Surbhi Bansal's book is the best ,i.e. no need to follow any material provided by ICAI. Bansal Ma'am's book is SHEER CLASS. One can do Ma'am's book on their own,it's self-explanatory .

Do 1st 4 chapter ( very very easy) , Company Audit (Study in such a manner as you are doing Audit of Companies in reality) , Special Audit (  easy), ERP ( complicated but Very Imp.)

Vouching and Verification is all about practical exposure. If you'r good in that ,then the world is yours and if you are not ,then even GOD also can't save you.

Have a Layman Approach on all Standards. One must identify b/w important & irrelevant SA's for the exams.

ITSM

IT-

The most irritating subject in the IPCC curriculum. Just UNLIMITED MUGGING + RETENTION OF THE SAME.

Be an expert in Flow Chart so that it can land you in direct 8 marks zone. Refer SM & PM for this. Presentation  matters most here along with technical words.
Ch-3 of ICAI's book is extremely Important as this chapter has approx 40 -50 % weight-age.

SM -

This subject is somewhat same like the business studies of Class 11th & 12th. For this PM is sufficient. All Chapters are equally Important.

# Self Study is preferable.
